One more time for the slow learners, the Center-Point vote was not about gas prices, it was about gas rates. The gang of four allowed Center-Point to increase rates when they did not need to do so. They did so in the face of the advice to the contrary from the city manager and city attorney. It doesn’t make any difference how much lipstick you put on a pig, at the end of the day it is still a pig.

Since you directed this directly at me and my friends, I feel I must speak back. I admit I don’t know much about gas. But based on years of dating, I can truthfully say, lipstick does make a difference. A pig wearing lipstick may still be a pig, but it’s a pretty pig.
