Wiley College Schedules Spring NASA/SEMAA Program Registration
The Wiley College NASA/SEMAA program is accepting applications for its Spring I session for grades 7-10 which will begin Saturday, Jan. 21st and continue until Feb. 25th. SEMAA stands for Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Aerospace Academy. It is a program sponsored by the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and is designed to encourage participants to pursue math, science and technology- related career. Kids have fun while completing hands-on activities. The program comes with a state-of-the-art, eleven-station Aerospace Education Laboratory (AEL). Participants use the AEL flight simulator to experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft. The program has added DNA technology to its list of curriculum topics for grades 7-10. Students will experience the excitement of forensic science through hands-on DNA testing.
