TSTC Marshall Listed in the Top 50 Fastest Growing Public Two-Year Colleges

(Marshall, TX) - According to the December 5, 2005 Community College Week, in the category of schools with fewer than 2,500 students, TSTC Marshall ranks 38 out of 50 colleges in the category of the fastest growing public two-year colleges in the nation. TSTC Marshall experienced a 15.6% increase in enrollment from fall 2003 to fall 2004, the most recent years for which data was available for the study. Last year, approximately 18 million students were enrolled in classes or programs that offer a degree or award credit at postsecondary institutions. More than a third of these students - nearly 6.5 million - were enrolled at two-year institutions.
