Parade lights up the night with Christmas cheer

By ROBIN Y. RICHARDSON, News Messenger The atmosphere was festive and familiar tunes filled the air Saturday as hundreds gathered downtown to catch the holiday spirit during the annual Mar-Tex Evening Lions Lighted Christmas Parade.
More than 60 twinkling entrants–walking, dancing, marching, twirling, and driving–participated. Some even flipped by, showing off their gymnastic moves.
