Actually the experience began on November 8 when the dreaded 015 error message appeared on my TV screen. That is when my adventure began. Actually it was 6 minutes and 32 seconds after I called the DISH trouble desk number, I met my first friend – I’ll call him Technician A (TA).

He was polite and well trained. In minutes we were working together like a well-trained team. I knew a solution to my problem was only minutes away. At the conclusion of the tests, TA said: “Well, looks like something is not working.” I just knew the next words would be: “We will send you a replacement receiver.”

It did not happen that way. Instead, I was instructed to uninstall the receiver and move it to the second receiver location. I was instructed to call back once I had it installed.
