Local officials informed about what it will take to get FutureGen

Harrison County officials attending a Thursday meeting about the FutureGen project heard both good and bad news.

State Geologist Scott Tinker told about 130 East Texas city, county officials and energy company representatives, meeting at Marshall's Weisman Center, the $1 billion emission-free power plant must meet certain specifications.

Harrison County possesses most of those.
