Although the event had been postponed twice due to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the long awaited evening was a big success.

The dinner with all the trimmings was prepared by Gucci and his staff and served by the Depot's board of directors with a large amount of help by Gucci's staff . There was great live entertainment provided by Jerry Payne and his saxophone and the music department of East Texas Baptist University.
