A PUBLIC MEETING? Why didnt I think of that!
Of course! Weve been idiots; a public meeting could let us all come together and decided once and for all what to do with this property. It will allow people to come forth in an open forum and voice their own opinions about any number of options to use this land for. Those for industrialization can step up and speak their piece; those for a refuge can too. Even those with other ideas can put them in play at a PUBLIC meeting! Why not have a SERIES of them, dont want to leave anyone out after all.
Our County Judge can plan them and compile all the comments and ideas gleaned and report back to our concerned elected officials in DC. Something this progressive and cutting edge has not been tried in Harrison County in a long, long time
been at least five years
thats when we had the last public meeting about this exact subject!
Back then, only one person stood up and spoke in favor of an industrial park. Now instead of 1 we have 2 standing up and 2 more riding in on their coattails. Although the first two claim a bakers dozen as backers, these so called dirty dozen have yet to reveal themselves in the light of day. They may one day be discovered to be a figment of someones imagination.
The coattail duos stake is not clear yet, but, spite and personal revenge cannot be ruled out.
